Shipping Policy

Our jewellery is handcrafted in our family workshop in Casablanca, Morocco, then imported into Canada and shipped from our Montreal office. Bijouterie Tariki inc. delivers within Canada only: all provinces and territories. We do not ship internationally.

Shipping is free, anywhere in Canada, on every order. No minimum purchase, no exceptions by province or region. The price shown on the product page is the price you pay, plus taxes. Shipping costs and parcel insurance are covered by us and already included in our prices.

Timeframes

In-showcase piece — already made, sold in its existing size: shipped within 4 to 8 business days after order confirmation.
Piece made to a custom size: made in 3 to 6 weeks, then shipped. This timeframe covers workshop production and transport to Montreal.

These are the only two timeframes we quote. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. We do not deliver on Saturdays and we do not offer an express service.

Should an unforeseen event — customs, workshop, carrier — extend the stated timeframe, we will notify you by email. If the stated timeframe cannot be met, you may cancel your order and be fully refunded, unless the custom-sized piece is already in production.

Charges, tracking and handover

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). The total amount, taxes included, is presented to you before payment. No shipping charge is added at checkout.
Every shipment is insured for its full value and tracked, at our expense. A tracking number is sent to you by email when the parcel leaves.
A signature is required on delivery. If no one is present, the carrier leaves a delivery notice and the parcel must be collected from the service point indicated.
We have no store open to the public: all orders are delivered by carrier, including within Montreal.

Gold weight adjustment before shipping

For a piece made to a custom size, the price shown at the time of order is an estimate calculated on the expected gold weight. The piece is weighed once completed, and the price is adjusted to its actual weight:

weight above the estimate: a supplementary invoice is sent to you for the difference;
weight below the estimate: a refund is issued to you for the difference;
the difference is calculated at the same per-gram rate as the displayed price, with no margin or added fees.

This adjustment is always sent to you before shipping, never after. The parcel leaves Montreal only once the final amount is known to you and settled. You will never receive a surprise invoice after delivery.

Delivery address

Check your address before confirming your order. Shipping is free, but that free shipping covers one dispatch: an incomplete or incorrect address delays delivery, and a re-shipment after the parcel is returned is charged to the customer at the actual cost of transport.
